About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join our award-winning Investment Funds & Corporate practice group in our Sydney office.

In this role, you will be involved in advising on investment fund structures and documentation, licensing, financial services regulation, capital raising, fund restructures, and transactions. You will also be involved in corporate and commercial transactions, including share and asset acquisitions, divestments, mergers, and general commercial matters. Client relationship management will be key to the success of this role, along with the ability to research and draft technical advice across a range of matters.

You will be part of an expanding and dynamic practice working with institutional and boutique investment fund clients, global and domestic corporate clients, and collaborating with Dentons teams across our global network.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have at least three years of relevant Australian legal experience in this area. If you are currently overseas and looking to return, we would love to hear from you, provided you are an Australian-qualified lawyer.

You will possess the ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, an assertive and thoughtful communication style, and a desire to develop, learn, and stretch their legal and commercial skills.
