Job Overview

To provide exceptional service and create a memorable experience for our guests, we are seeking an enthusiastic Food Service Attendant to join our team at the Pool Bar on a part-time basis during peak periods.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for serving food and beverages to guests in the pool area, clearing tables and sun loungers, answering questions about menu selections, and communicating with the kitchen regarding product availability.

Critical Responsibilities:

  • Deliver efficient, friendly, and professional service to all guests
  • Warmly welcome and serve our guests with a smile
  • Be knowledgeable about the hotel and its amenities to provide a seamless experience
  • Engage with guests and exceed their expectations
  • Assist guests with menu inquiries, dietary requirements, and recommendations
  • Ensure accuracy with orders and service delivery
  • Operate Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Maintain stock levels of ice, glassware, and paper supplies
  • Ensure all service areas are clean and well-maintained
  • Promote safety and adhere to Workplace Health and Safety practices
  • Previous experience in food service is desirable
  • Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card
  • Have a positive attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Barista skills are advantageous
  • Beverage knowledge is beneficial
  • Availability includes weekends and public holidays
