About the Role

A career-defining opportunity has arisen for a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our client, a leading provider of telecommunications services to the mining, industrial, logistics, construction, marine, and emergency services sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute, service, and maintain various equipment on mine sites to ensure client expectations are met and positive customer relationships are developed and maintained.
  • Lead technical service delivery teams for planning, installing, commissioning, and delivering solutions, and prioritize planned and unplanned workload.
  • Work with LTE networks, DRS radio, and/or fleet management systems, as well as communication systems across a range of equipment including draglines, excavators, haul trucks, and light vehicles.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to assist with functional specification requirements and integrate and implement technical solutions with management and user groups.
  • Problem solve and fault-find in time-critical situations, ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Trade level certificate in electronics, telecommunications, electrical, auto electrics, or similar field.
  • Proven ability to work in a similar role within the mining or telecommunications industry.
  • Experience in leading technical service delivery teams and working with LTE networks, DRS radio, and/or fleet management systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Order 43 (or willing to obtain) and Working safely at heights certificate.
