About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Swim School Coordinator to join our team at Payneham Goodlife Health Club.

\

As a Swim School Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the swim school and coaching swimming lessons for children and adults. You will have the opportunity to educate them about water safety and develop their swimming skills.

\

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is punctual, friendly, and has a strong customer service focus. If you have experience in teaching or supervising children and hold a current AUSTSWIM qualification or registration, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

\
  • Oversee the swim school and coach swimming lessons for children and adults.
  • Educate members on water safety and develop their swimming skills.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with members and staff.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the club by participating in team meetings and events.

Requirements:

\
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
  • Experience in teaching or supervising children.
  • A current AUSTSWIM qualification or registration.
  • Ability to build rapport with people from varied walks of life.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to listen, understand, empathise, and influence others.
  • Hold a current Working With Children Check.
  • Team management experience.
