Key Position for Hotel Operations

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Venue Manager at our hotel.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, be able to build relationships with locals, and have a proven track record in running or assisting in the management of multifaceted venues.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences through effective training and guidance.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, back-of-house administration, staff recruitment, rostering, and customer service.
  • Create memorable moments for guests through passion and creativity.
  • Grow the business through innovative initiatives and ideas.

Key Requirements

  • Essential Skills:
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build relationships with locals.
  • Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • Proven experience in running or assisting in the management of multifaceted venues.
  • Financial and business acumen combined with operational experience to achieve operational targets and vision.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including working in a matrix organization.
  • Industry licenses and accreditations: RSA/RSG/, RMLV, Approved Managers Licence.
  • Able to meet state liquor licensing nominee/liquor appointee requirements.
