- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop personalized therapy plans to address individual client needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to enhance clients' communication skills.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
- Educate clients and their families on effective communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with industry standards.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in speech pathology.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in speech pathology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate approach with a focus on client-centered care.
- Proficiency in relevant assessment and therapy tools.
