The role of Interim Executive Officer presents a critical opportunity for an accomplished executive to drive strategic growth and development in the region.
Working closely with the Chair, Deputy Chair, and members of the Board, as well as the General Managers, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading regional strategic planning, priority setting, advocacy, and intergovernmental cooperation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement regional strategies to achieve long-term sustainability and well-being
- Lead advocacy efforts to ensure effective collaboration with governments and key stakeholders
- Coordinate intergovernmental cooperation to drive positive change in the region
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Requirements:- Results-driven individual with a proven track record of achievement in a leadership role
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of regional development, governance, and community engagement, with a passion for driving positive change in the region's communities.
