The Job:

We're seeking an experienced Van Driver to join our team at our Port Hedland Depot. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Team Global Express in a professional manner while picking up freight from customers and delivering to customers in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Ensure freight is securely loaded and unloaded and lifted/transported in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Adhere to scanning and Proof of Delivery procedures and safe and law-abiding driving practices.
  • Manage and collect all consignment paperwork and/or manifests and notes at pickup points.
  • Ensure freight is packaged in a safe and effective manner.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Current and valid C Class driving licence.
  • Current valid Forklift licence.
  • Experience with handheld barcode scanning devices.
  • Experience in pick-up and delivery of general and express freight.
  • Dangerous Goods awareness.
  • Experience with radio communications systems.
  • Experience with Load Restraint Systems & Equipment.
  • Ability to pass pre-checks (medical/background/D&A).
