We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team and shape the future of Software Defined Infrastructure.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to design, implement, and maintain automated solutions as part of our Infrastructure-as-Code strategy. As a key member of our project team, you will collaborate on software-defined data centre builds using leading-edge tools and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop custom Ansible modules and collections to streamline network automation.
  • Integrate software components into a CI/CD pipeline, following a test-driven approach.
  • Troubleshoot complex development and networking issues alongside cross-functional teams.
  • Document systems, processes, and code to support scale and maintainability.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Strong Python expertise for scripting and automation in network environments.
  • Deep knowledge of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, firewalls, etc.).
  • Experience with Terraform, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (esp. GitLab).
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Exposure to Software Defined Infrastructure and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Familiarity with network and security monitoring tools.
