We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to join our team at our Indian restaurant in Glenelg, SA.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day culinary operations of our restaurant, including:

  • Developing innovative menu offerings that showcase our expertise in Indian cuisine
  • Ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation
  • Leading a high-performing kitchen team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory, labor costs, and food safety procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
  • Diploma in Hospitality (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Knowledge of WHS standards, Food Safety, and HACCP requirements
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $90,000 per annum, plus superannuation. Our restaurant offers a supportive and dynamic work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
