Housekeeping Room Attendant Role

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent cleaning skills, effective communication skills, and be able to work in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean guest rooms, storage areas, and corridors to the required standard.
  • Replenish guest supplies and advertising material in bedrooms and bathrooms to the correct standards for the room type.
  • Report lost property following correct procedures.
  • Handle guest laundry in line with hotel policy.
  • Maintain equipment to a high standard and report any defective equipment as set down in procedures manual.
  • Ensure the security of keys and guest rooms at all times by adherence to security procedures. Report any suspicious persons or items to Supervisor.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Excellent cleaning skills.
  • Professional presentation.
  • Experience in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster over 7 days from 0600am to 930pm.
