The primary goal of the Plumbing Supervisor is to effectively manage and direct a team of plumbers in various locations, ensuring high-quality services and adhering to relevant policies and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the plumbing team in Kingston and other designated areas.
  • Responsible for recruiting, appointing, and managing plumbers, gasfitters, and mechanical services balancing technicians in Antarctica and the Sub-Antarctic regions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and standards for all plumbing, gas, and mechanical services plant and equipment in Antarctica and the Sub-Antarctic.
  • Monitor and maintain key performance indicators related to water consumption and incineration as required by environmental reporting systems.

The successful candidate will lead, direct, and support a team of plumbers to achieve operational and business objectives within predetermined targets while utilizing allocated resources efficiently.

Requirements
  • Recent experience in supervisory and managerial roles, particularly in overseeing teams of plumbers or tradespeople.
  • In-depth knowledge of plumbing and hydraulic design principles is essential.
