About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Education Program Coordinator to join our team at the Art Gallery of South Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering high-quality education programs that promote arts education and engagement with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver education programs for students of all ages and abilities, including workshops, resources, and online activities.
  • Collaborate with educators, artists, and community groups to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with educational institutions, government departments, and cultural organizations.
  • Coordinate and deliver education programs to schools in metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia.
  • Support the education team with program development, marketing, and evaluation.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Education or a related field.
  • Experience in planning and implementing education programs, preferably in the arts sector.
  • Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum, Early Years Learning Framework, and SACE learning assessment requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Good general knowledge of art history, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art.
  • Ability to establish sound working relationships and contribute to a culture that values diversity and respect.

Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
