About the Role

AustralianSuper is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Remediation Management team, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end communication support for remediations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan to engage and support members through the remediation process.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Fund to create and deliver effective communication strategies.
  • Write clear and concise communications for members, including FAQs and other supporting materials.
  • Apply existing frameworks to remediation communications to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Work with a wide range of stakeholders to understand requirements and coordinate feedback.
  • Develop a multi-channel approach to engage members via their preferred communication channel.
  • Tailor communications for cohorts of members with similar characteristics and consider the best communication methods for vulnerable members.
  • Develop internal communications for teams that may be impacted by the remediation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in Communications within Financial Services, ideally superannuation.
  • Polished writing skills with the ability to convert technical concepts into plain language.
  • Experience communicating with members/customers on RG277 / RG256 compliant remediation is desired.
  • An ability to work well with others through presenting ideas, perspectives and solutions.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise own workload to deliver programs on-time, to budget, and to the required standard.
  • Extensive experience developing a wide variety of end-to-end communications, including the writing, sign-off management, design management, production and distribution of communications across multiple channels for different audiences.
  • Well-developed problem solving, analytical and organisational skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Studying or have qualification in communications, marketing or related field.
  • RG146 advantageous.
