As a Senior SAP Systems Analyst at GoSourcing Pty Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in supporting one of our Federal Government client offices.

This position involves designing, creating, evaluating and documenting ICT solutions in new and existing systems. You may propose modifications to the existing systems and processes, or design new systems to meet user needs as expressed in requirements documentations or user stories.

Senior Systems Analysts are responsible for translating business needs into ICT system requirements and specifications for enhancements. This includes designing, analysing and documenting software systems to meet business expectations. They are responsible for writing functional specifications from the business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed analysis and evaluation of business processes and requirements
  • Create solution designs and implement solutions to meet business needs
  • Create and maintain solution documents
  • Support daily operations and monitor performance of business solutions
  • Adhere to delivery and support methodologies and contribute ideas for improvement
  • Perform detailed technical application assessments considering feasibility, resource effort, risks and benefits
  • Conduct testing activities such as test planning, execution coverage reviews and defect management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define tasks, resolve issues, solve problems and ensure effective and timely implementation of projects
  • Undertake project quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design and testing documents
  • Review research, process models and documentation of other staff, providing guidance and feedback
  • Resolve or escalate issues as required and suggest alternative approaches and solutions
  • Perform cost analysis activities as required
  • Manage the life cycle of changes and improvements to systems
  • Manage a team to increase performance and engagement through coaching, capability development, performance management and health and well-being support
  • Set priorities, manage resources, and assist with the development of work plans
  • Exercise delegations in line with legislation and guidelines as required

About the Role:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.

This role requires a minimum of two years' experience working as a SAP Technical Analyst in a large-scale SAP Australian Public Sector environment or similar.
