Job Description

  • This role offers an exciting chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing speech pathology services to clients with diverse needs and goals.
  • Based on your preferences and availability, you will be required to travel to the Emerald region for a period of one week or more each month to deliver services in a clinic and community setting.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, including those with NDIS, Medicare, DVA, and private funding arrangements, catering to ages 0-100 and presenting with chronic diagnoses such as developmental delays, stroke/brain injuries, dementia, stuttering, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, autism, dyslexia, and facial abnormalities.
  • In addition to face-to-face services, there may be opportunities to provide telehealth consultations, accommodating client preferences and needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in speech pathology is essential, along with current registration and membership with the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) association.
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia and a valid driver's license are also mandatory.
