Job Description

The Portfolio Coordinator is a newly created opportunity in our Strategy and Social Value Team based at our Perth CBD office.

This role will support the development and delivery of Synergy's corporate strategy through coordination and governance management of the portfolio of strategic initiatives, engagement with key stakeholders, and facilitating decision making that achieves the organisation's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with internal stakeholders to implement a defined governance framework across a suite of strategic initiatives.
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders to ensure all required are kept informed of updates, deliverables, project milestones and other ad-hoc items.
  • Track progress against key milestones and ensure dependencies and initiative/project sequencing is on-track.
  • Ensure delivery of monthly reporting requirements, deliverables shared, initiatives prioritised, and market insights/impacts responded to.
  • Support ongoing strategic planning and governance processes, insights, analysis, and recommendations that inform corporate objectives and decision making.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years' experience in a project / program, consulting, or corporate strategy role, with a structured problem-solving background and project delivery toolkit.
  • Experience working with key business stakeholders to evaluate decisions that drive growth within business.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills and comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
About the Opportunity
