Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and testing backup and recovery processes to ensure the integrity of our data.

You will also be expected to enforce security measures to protect company data, provide first-level support, and maintain MS SQL Server database environments. Additionally, you will build database structures based on detailed designs and assist in implementing data archiving and space management techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A basic level of administration and management skills of the Microsoft SQL platform up to and including SQL 2017;
  • A basic understanding of relational database concepts design;
  • Introductory knowledge of SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS components of the SQL server platform;
  • A basic understanding of ERP solutions in a mid/large organisation and the database requirements thereof;
  • A basic experience in Microsoft technologies/cloud technologies and big data frameworks.
