About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Assistant to join our team at RFBI's Bathurst Village. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality personal care services to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services, including showering, dressing, grooming, and assisting with meals and bed-making.
  • Deliver basic clinical care, including wound dressing, medication delivery, and recording basic clinical observations.
  • Assist with care management for residents with diabetes, arthritis, and other conditions.
  • Enter reports and observations into our computer program, iCare.
  • Work collaboratively with the Care Manager to achieve person-centred care.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged Care.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience in an aged care environment.
  • An enthusiastic and motivated approach.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Valid police check clearance.
  • Current flu and Covid vaccination.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
