Job Overview:

Firesoft People is seeking a seasoned Senior iOS Developer to join our pioneering project in the travel sector. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient mobile app features that meet business objectives and follow engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mobile app features that meet business objectives and follow engineering best practices
  • Ensure software delivered is of high quality and follows design, security, and architectural standards
  • Advocate for a continuous improvement culture and take ownership of technical excellence
  • Collaborate with other engineers, product owners, and stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of best practices, including mobile architecture, iOS/Android design guidelines, software development best practices, secure coding practices, devops, and CI/CD methodologies
  • Develop technology stack initiatives to improve speed-to-market, quality of service, privacy, and cyber security
  • Provide production support, including triage and resolution of incidents

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in working in an iOS leadership capacity
  • Proven experience as a senior mobile developer and architecting and designing mobile apps for consumers
  • Experience in shipping multiple consumer-facing mobile apps and features
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines, app/play store releases, and devops practices
  • Experience in debugging and resolving customer and production issues
  • Knowledge of security best practices in mobile and software development
  • Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders and team members
  • Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, and documentation to an appropriate level
  • Ability to think outside the box to approach problems
