Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Data Solutions Architect to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions on the Azure platform. This role requires a deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and performance optimization to deliver high-quality, reliable, and accessible data for analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust data warehouse solutions on the Azure platform.
  • Develop, manage, and optimize ETL/ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory and related tools.
  • Work extensively with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen2), and SQL Server to ingest, process, and store data efficiently.
  • Write and optimize T-SQL queries to support data processing and analytics.
  • Design and implement effective data models (star schema, snowflake schema) for reporting and analytics.
  • Integrate structured and semi-structured data from a variety of sources, including APIs, flat files, and on-premises databases seamlessly.
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence teams to support Power BI reporting solutions effectively.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data warehousing architecture and design, preferably on the Azure platform.
  • Strong, hands-on experience with: Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen2), T-SQL and SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in ETL/ETL workflow development and management.
  • Experience in Power BI reporting.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (star schema, snowflake schema) and performance optimization.
  • Experience integrating structured and semi-structured data from multiple sources.
