About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our Engineering Construction division. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering services and project management support for assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety, and quality.
  • Manage the interface between the engineering and project delivery teams to maintain compliance with specifications, schedules, and contracts.
  • Manage and supervise the resolution of technical queries as required.
  • Lead the procurement and work pack development for the project.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to other members of the Engineering team.
  • Compile schedule, cost, progress, and forecast reports for the project; ensuring all schedule reporting requirements are met.
  • Provide support to the project team and implement best practice on the project.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in Project Engineering on large-scale resources construction projects for similar companies.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A methodical approach, high attention to detail, and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of own work.
  • Be delivery-focused, with a high level of self-motivation and drive to support the project in delivering to a tight schedule.
  • Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels.
  • Proof of right to work in Australia.
