Diesel Mechanic Wanted

We are seeking skilled and experienced professionals to maintain our fleet of modern trucks and trailers. As a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and servicing, conducting basic repairs, and ensuring the optimal performance and safety of equipment.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of servicing, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of trucks and trailers, including oil changes, greasing, filter changes
• Carry out basic repairs and troubleshooting of trucks and trailers
• Maintain accurate service records and reports on equipment performance

Requirements

• Previous experience as a service person, preferably within the heavy transport/equipment industry
• 2+ years experience working within a mechanical workshop/field environment
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence (HR/HC/MC licence highly regarded)
• Strong knowledge of servicing and diagnostics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
