Truck Trailer Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to take on the role of Truck Trailer Service Technician. As part of our team in Melbourne, you will be responsible for servicing and fitting trailers, performing minor repairs and modifications, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong attention to detail. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing chassis work, including minor repairs and modifications
  • Working on brakes, air systems, trailer servicing (mechanical), and suspension mods
  • Conducting roadworthy inspections and ensuring all vehicles are safe to operate

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience and qualification in a related field
  • High attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Welding skills are an advantage
