Residential Case Manager

This role is a critical component of our program, which aims to support individuals in their journey towards recovery.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver trauma-informed residential support
  • Develop and facilitate community-based programs for relapse prevention, harm reduction, and well-being
  • Contribute to the formulation and review of resident plans
  • Build supportive relationships with clients and their families
  • Maintain accurate case notes and documentation

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Community Services (Alcohol and Other Drugs), or a related qualification
  • Experience working in case management
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse clients and stakeholders in a non-judgmental and culturally appropriate manner
  • A sound understanding of the therapeutic community model and the ability to respond effectively to challenging behaviors
  • Strong organisational, time management, and documentation skills
  • Lived experience and/or Aboriginality (highly desired)

Benefits:

  • $101,784 to $108,468 (commensurate with experience) PLUS super, salary sacrificing, and remote area benefits
  • 6 weeks annual leave
  • Relocation assistance up to $3000

About Us:

We are a non-profit organisation dedicated to rehabilitating individuals struggling with alcohol and drug misuse or dependency in Central Australia. We take a 'whole person' approach, supporting individuals to reduce or abstain from harmful drug and alcohol misuse.

Our program offers various services, including a 20-bed therapeutic community with eight and 12-week programs, Transitional After Care Units to aid participants in semi-independent living, and Independent Living Programs, a Sobering-Up Shelter and Outreach Program and also two Alternative To Custody programs.

We aim to be a place of healing, ensuring cultural understanding is at the forefront of all our programs, and interactions.
