About the Role
Catholic Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at St Joseph's, Coffs Harbour. As a key member of our residential aged care home, you will provide high-quality clinical care to our residents, prioritizing their individual needs and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct clinical nursing care to residents, adhering to best practice procedures and protocols.
- Act as a team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team.
- Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, closely following all policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A current AHPRA registration, following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar.
- A thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.
- Effective conflict resolution skills and a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Competent IT skills.
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
