The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Claims Support Specialist to join our team based in Sydney. As a Claims Support Specialist, you will provide administrative support to our Case Managers in the Hospitality Industry Insurance (HII) business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive customer service experience to work with a leading insurance company.
Your Responsibilities
- Providing claims administration support to our Case Managers
- Administrating and processing of claims, sorting mail and filing as requested
- Organising medical appointments, investigations, police reports and interpreter services
- Managing basic phone enquiries such as unpaid accounts and changing medical appointments
- Ensuring invoices and payments comply with GST/ITC guidelines
- Processing invoices and third-party or worker reimbursements
About You
- Previous experience in administration and office support or extensive customer service experience
- Competent use of MS Word and Excel
- High level of typing accuracy
- Ability to take direction and a willingness to learn
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Time management and organisational skills
