About the Role
As a key member of the Business Systems team, you will report directly to the Business Systems Manager and be responsible for driving the governance and successful delivery of critical project outcomes across the region.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced project manager who excels in continuous improvement, enjoys delivering successful projects, and possesses exceptional time management and stakeholder interaction skills.
The successful candidate will have the flexibility to be based in Hobart, Port Pirie, or Adelaide, with occasional travel required between these locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple IT projects of strategic importance to the business, adhering to the Nyrstar Project Management Methodology.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project management plans to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they meet approved scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets.
- Track project progress and provide regular reports to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and the global IT team to develop project roadmaps, resource requirements, and budgets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale IT projects.
- Successful management of multiple concurrent IT projects.
- Systems Delivery Lifecycle methodologies and experience in configuring, testing, and deploying applications and system integrations.
- Exceptional communication, engagement, and influencing skills.
- Advanced project management tools, such as MS Project or Service Now.
Ideal candidates will possess qualifications or certifications in project management methodologies, such as Prince 2, PMBOK, or Agile, as well as ITIL.
