Psychologist/Rehabilitation Counsellor

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals at the MedHealth Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality services to our clients, helping them regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
- Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
- Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
- Understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
- Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Australian recognized degree qualifications & registration in Psychology/Provisional Psychology or Rehab Counselling (AHPRA / ASORC).
- Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways.
- The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
- A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers.
- Willingness to work in the community (must have a driver's license and access to own vehicle).
- Current or able to get a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
