Greenfields Executive Recruitment & Search is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Lawyer to join our client's in-house legal team. As a key member of the team, you will provide legal advice on a wide range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting strategic mergers and acquisitions, including legal advice and support for M&A transactions.
- Offering regulatory advice and aiding in the implementation of compliance initiatives.
- Providing company secretarial and corporate governance support.
- Negotiating and drafting various commercial contracts, including IT contracts, leases, and service agreements.
- Assisting with the negotiation and management of group financing arrangements and shareholders' agreements.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years post-qualification experience in corporate/commercial work gained either within a strong top or mid-tier law firm or similar in-house role.
- Experience in taking and writing minutes, summarising discussions, and writing reports.
- Experience/knowledge of the general insurance industry is desirable.
- Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
