The Position

As a General Medicine Registrar, you will be responsible for managing patient care in collaboration with Consultants, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a busy, state-of-the-art public hospital Medicine Department, where you will receive extensive support from Consultants and Senior Medical Officers.

The Location

This coastal destination boasts a stunning natural environment, with picturesque beaches, outdoor activities, and a diverse range of recreational pursuits. The area offers an exceptional lifestyle, with easy access to Brisbane and a range of amenities, including fine dining establishments, shopping options, and prestigious private schools.

The Facility

The hospital is a 200+ bed facility, serving a population of over 200,000 residents, including several rural communities. The hospital has undergone significant redevelopment, with a major investment of over $50 million, resulting in improved services and superior treatment options.

The Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have completed one of the following:

* Hold General Registration with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience working in General Medicine
* Have General Medicine experience working in a Competent Authority country and be eligible for the CA Pathway (NZ, USA, Ireland, UK, Canada)
* Have completed the AMC MCQ (part 1)
* Be an IMG assessed by RACP and deemed partially or substantially comparable

Pay

A competitive remuneration package, valued up to $153,972, dependent on experience.
