Main Responsibilities:
  • The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical skills to interpret building plans and work orders, ensuring seamless compliance with safety regulations.
  • Erecting and dismantling scaffolding while maintaining a safe working environment is also a key responsibility of this position.
  • We are seeking an individual who can create and maintain structures using various materials, adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Laying bricks in rows, designs, and shapes, spreading mortar between joints, embedding blocks in mortar, removing excess mortar, strengthening and sealing foundations, fastening bricks with wire clamps or cement, repairing building blocks, managing material quantities, and utilizing hand tools, brick-cutting machines, spirit levels, and plumb lines are all essential tasks for this role.
  • Working safely on scaffolds and swing stages at various heights is also critical, as well as utilizing equipment and tools effectively for basic construction tasks and maintaining accurate records/documentation associated with the work undertaken.
