About the Role:
The primary role of an emergency physician at Casey Hospital ED is to support and assist the Director of the Emergency Department in providing high-quality Emergency Department services, consistent with the Monash Health values.
As a member of our diverse team, you will be responsible for your team of doctors in caring for patients who present to our facility, ranging from day-old babes to patients over 100 years old.
We care for all clinical groups of presentations, with access to our care from cradle to grave.
The applicant must be able to:
- Provide clinical leadership through active involvement in patient care.
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a high-quality multidisciplinary team.
- Access to Emergency services, open communication, collaborative working relationships, and professional behaviours at all times.
- Duties as outlined in the relevant Enterprise Agreement.
Requirements:
- Medical Specialist Registration with AHPRA
- Fellow of Australasian College of Emergency Medicine or completed all requirements to attain fellowship or equivalent certification
