This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSE) Advisor, working under the direction of the HSE Manager to effectively implement the Work Health Safety Plan and Strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Implement and Monitor WHS Plans and Strategies
  2. Deliver WHS Planning, Solutions, and Coordination
  3. Provide Guidance in WHS Onsite Operational Environment
  4. Assist in Incident Response and Investigations
  5. Conduct Site Monitoring and Review Safety Documentation
  6. Establish and Support One HSE Culture Program
  7. Support Lessons Learnt from Incidents
  8. Review Authorisations for UGL and Sub-Contractor Personnel
  9. Assist in Safety Assessment of Plant and Equipment
  10. Contribute to Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Reporting Requirements

Qualifications

  1. Tertiary Qualification (Diploma or Greater) in Workplace Health and Safety
  2. Cert IV Training and Assessment
  3. Construction Industry Basic Induction (White Card) or Equivalent
  4. Strong Computer Skills Including Microsoft Office Suite
  5. Experience in Operational WHS Environments
  6. Experience in Delivery of Safety Initiatives and Training
  7. Demonstrates Sound Understanding of Risk Management Principles
  8. Solid Knowledge of Work Health and Safety Systems
