Village Caretaker

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the facilities and grounds are well-maintained and providing an excellent living experience for our residents.

• Grounds and Maintenance: Maintain the beauty of our Village by taking care of the gardens, mowing the lawns, plus all general gardening duties.
• Maintenance Mastery: Maintain our Village to the highest standards by undertaking a variety of general duties.
• Transportation Excellence: Safely drive our village van to the local shopping centre, and the occasional lunch, providing them with convenient access to essential services and activities.

• Experience: Previous experience preferred, ideally in retirement village, aged care, or community settings.
• Independence and Initiative: Ability to work autonomously, exercising discretion and initiative.
• Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to engage with residents and colleagues.
• Physical Fitness and Stamina: The role requires physical activity, so being in good physical condition is essential.
• Driver's License: Valid license required
