Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Assistant to support the delivery of a safe and clean-living environment for residents and staff.

  • The successful candidate will undertake routine and project cleaning tasks according to established cleaning schedules, including mopping and vacuuming floors, carpet cleaning, damp dusting, cobweb removal, window cleaning, waste management, restocking of supplies, collection of soiled linen and clothing as required.
  • They will also operate mechanical cleaning equipment such as carpet cleaning machines, steam cleaners and hard floor scrubbers.
About You

Key qualifications include experience in cleaning tasks, knowledge and experience in safe chemical handling, completion of cleaning tasks according to infection control and occupational health and safety requirements, effective interpersonal communication and demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads.
