About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Retail Customer Service Officer to join our team in Wodonga Post Office. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and sales support to our customers
  • Manage high-value transactions accurately, including handling cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS
  • Process identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews
  • Promote our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising, and other promotional activities
  • Assist with mail lodgements and associated costs
  • Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs
  • Perform administrative duties, such as stocktaking and record maintenance
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service skills, experience in cash handling, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must also be physically fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.
