Supervising Children's Contact Visits in Sydney

This role involves supervising court-ordered contact visits between children and their family members in Sydney. The role requires transporting children from one parent to another, spending time with them and writing observational notes.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and families experiencing separation and family breakdown, as well as high levels of family conflict and challenging behaviors.

  • Key qualifications include experience in welfare, childcare, psychology, counselling, dispute resolution, relationship education, children's services, men's programs, or family and criminal law
  • A strong understanding of child development, child protection, and family violence issues is also essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, with the ability to produce a written report after each contact
  • A reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance, and a current driver's license with a good driving record are necessary
  • A valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check are mandatory
  • Access to a mobile phone and computer with internet access is also required
  • A minimum availability of three days per week, with flexibility to work weekends and non-traditional hours is preferred
