Accounting Leadership Role

As an experienced accounting professional, you will lead and develop the accounting function, overseeing the period close process, ensuring accuracy of the general ledger and financial reporting in compliance with statutory regulations.


The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced MS Excel abilities, and knowledge of U.S GAAP. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the accounting function, overseeing the period close process, and ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger and financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and Australian statutory regulations
  • Prepare statutory financial reports for Australia, including APAC consolidation for the holding company, ensuring timely and compliant submissions
  • Oversee tax compliance activities, including preparation, review, and timely filing of statutory returns and reports in collaboration with external consultants

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting and full membership in CPA or CA
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in an accounting or financial function with 3+ years in a manager role
  • Strong knowledge of U.S GAAP
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and strong relationship-building and team management skills
