This role is crucial in delivering primary health care services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in a rural community environment.
The successful candidate will provide holistic, culturally sensitive support to pregnant women, their families, and communities as a skilled midwife, contributing to the health and growth of babies.
Key aspects of this position include assisting with clinical care to improve health outcomes for Aboriginal communities and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide flexible and holistic care services.
Primary Responsibilities- Support pregnant women from diverse backgrounds, including those from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, in Dubbo Community Health
- Contribute to improving health outcomes by providing comprehensive clinical care and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
- Provide culturally sensitive primary health care services to meet the needs of the local community
