About the Role
As a Community Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering people with disability to live independently, participate in their local community, and engage in meaningful opportunities. You will work in a team environment and independently, providing a range of services to assist clients in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities
Supporting clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community through the delivery of person-centred programs
Working to behaviour support plans by utilising positive behaviour strategies
Assisting and supporting clients with personal and hygiene care
Maintaining progress notes and record-keeping
Communicating effectively with families to provide regular updates on clients' progress

About You
We're looking for a passionate and energetic individual who is committed to making a difference in the lives of people with disability. You will have experience in the Disability sector, ideally with managing behaviours, and be able to support others with personal and hygiene care. You will also demonstrate the ability to engage, communicate, and build partnerships with people.
