Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team at St Bernadette's Primary School. As a Primary Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students, providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students, promoting a love of learning and academic achievement.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Evaluate student progress, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address these needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and ideas, promoting a culture of mutual support and professional growth.
Requirements
  • Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance.
  • Tertiary Qualification in Education.
  • Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) - conditionally accredited teachers and new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Demonstrated knowledge or experience on student wellbeing-focused programs and/or initiatives.
  • Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic education.
