Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a sense of calm and reassurance.
  • Transport customers to appointments and social events, promoting independence and mobility.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia and other conditions, requiring specialized support and care.

Requirements
  • Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability, or Nursing.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications.
  • Additional immunizations, including diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and TB (if applicable).
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel to customers' homes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
