We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trade Store Customer Service Operative to join our team.

This role involves working in a dynamic warehousing environment, where you will be responsible for picking orders, providing exceptional customer service, collaborating with your team, operating a forklift, and performing general warehouse duties.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively on the floor and in the office to interact with customers directly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking & packing orders daily
  • Dealing with Customers face-to-face & over the phone
  • Assisting with stock take and inventory counts
  • Creating orders and receiving goods
  • Loading/unloading customer vehicles
  • Maintaining equipment and reporting faults or damage
  • Recording customer complaints via company procedures
  • General warehouse duties and housekeeping

Requirements:

  • Forklift license advantageous or willingness to obtain
  • Physical fitness and manual handling comfort
  • Picking and packing experience beneficial
  • Microsoft Office skills for operational tasks
  • Team player with attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Safety mindset and can-do attitude
