About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled Logistics Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting our customers through order management and account queries, as well as developing a specialisation in Inventory Management across the network.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert advice on stock control and balancing to internal and external customers.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve stock control and minimise costs.
  3. Liaise with transport providers to coordinate required transport services daily.
  4. Be the point of contact for all concerns from wash sites & 3PLs regarding customer requests & stock movements.
  5. Ensure site stocktakes of crates, pallets, and bins are done on time and accurately.
  6. Update inventory and stock reports in a timely manner.
  7. Continuously improve processes for stock control on sites with the site teams.
  8. Have the right stock in the right place to meet demand.
  9. Analyse network demand, stock availability, and wash capability to determine movements needed.
  10. Manage de-hires to ensure sufficient dirty stock for operations to wash.

Your Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  1. Experience in SAP, Excel, and Power Bi.
  2. Experience in a Customer Services role is preferable.
  3. Strong numerical capability.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and empathy to influence across the stakeholder group.
  5. Ability to problem solve and find solutions to challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in supply chain or logistics is preferable.
