Physiotherapy Assistant

We are a dynamic and expanding Private Physiotherapy practice dedicated to delivering exceptional care and management of Sports Injuries, Clinical Pilates, and Women's Health.
About You- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy is a must.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is essential.
As a Junior Physiotherapist at Goodlife Physio, you will enjoy extended initial consultation times (45 minutes), extra administration time, and opportunities to work with other staff. We prioritize professional development and case conferences (1 hour) to ensure your growth and success.
You will be responsible for developing and assisting in personalized physiotherapy and exercise programs to maximize client results, attendance, retention, and new member acquisition. You will collaborate with reception staff, meet with senior physiotherapists, assist with weekly triage patients, and build on the current caseload of patients, ensuring high-quality care and client satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities- Assist in treating a range of physiotherapy clients under supervision.
- Learn and apply physiotherapy techniques and practices.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and assist with reporting.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and provide regular progress reports.
- Work as part of a team of health professionals to provide a multidisciplinary care plan.
- Liaise with senior physios regarding feedback and suggestions.
- Continuous research and professional development in industry best practices.
- Report any necessary repairs/replacement for all exercise equipment and administration hardware.
- Ensure the site treating rooms and exercise areas are kept clean and hygienic and clear of any workplace hazards.
- Exercise a professional duty of care in a safe environment.
- Adequate record keeping and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
- Undertake and record a thorough, sensitive, and detailed clinical assessment, using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Take delegated responsibilities from senior physios.
- Use a range of verbal and non-verbal communication methods to progress rehabilitation and treatment programs.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records in line with standards of practice and local policy.
