- The Social Worker will be part of our Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Service, working with a diverse range of clients who face complex challenges related to general and mental health, family and community violence, alcohol and other drugs (AOD), child protection issues, offending, cultural needs, and more.
Social Work Role Overview
The Social Worker will provide psychosocial support to individuals and their families, using evidence-based methodologies such as screening and assessments, case management, advocacy, outreach, supportive counselling, and group work.
The role involves facilitating access to community services like employment and social opportunities, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and family support through therapy and case management
- Work closely with clients to identify their strengths, needs, and goals
- Develop and implement personalized plans to address complex challenges
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
Salary and Benefits
This is a full-time, maximum-term position offering a competitive salary package of $100,210 - $112,222 per annum, plus superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax savings from salary packaging options.
