We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Daycare Manager to join our team at YMCA Brisbane. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality childcare services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service, including staff supervision, program development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Team

YMCA Brisbane provides care for children before school, after school, and during holidays across 50+ school sites throughout South East Queensland. Our OSHC services offer a wide range of fun, stimulating, and diverse programs that reflect real-world experiences and home settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the OSHC service, including staff supervision and program development;
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of quality care;
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to support the delivery of high-quality services;
  • Collaborate with parents, educators, and other stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service;
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement;
Requirements
  • A relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum Diploma of Children's Services);
  • Sound experience in childcare management, including staff supervision and program development;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others;
  • A valid First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain;
  • A current Blue Card, or willingness to obtain;
