Celotti Workforce is seeking a skilled Estimator/Draftsman to join our team in Darwin, NT.

This role involves utilizing mechanical or civil engineering expertise to create 2D & 3D drawings and provide estimating services for our manufacturing client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the success of our manufacturing client's projects by applying mechanical or civil engineering knowledge.
  • Read and draft 2D drawings to bring designs to life and contribute to the production of high-quality products.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic manufacturing environment to ensure seamless coordination and efficient project delivery.

Requirements:

  • A degree or relevant qualifications in mechanical or civil engineering, providing a strong theoretical foundation for this role.
  • Additional certifications or training in estimating, drafting, or project management would be beneficial, enhancing the ability to contribute effectively to our manufacturing projects.
  • Proven experience in a similar capacity within the engineering and manufacturing sector, demonstrating the ability to thrive in this environment.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in estimating would be advantageous, but we are open to providing training for the right candidate.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and MS Office is a must, enabling the use of technology for optimized project outcomes.
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry would be a distinct advantage, allowing for an immediate impact.
  • Familiarity with MYOB/Inventory management would be advantageous, contributing to smooth operational workflows.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
