Clinical Midwife Position

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a passionate Clinical/Registered Midwife to join their team in the Northern Area Midwifery Group Practice. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive midwifery care to women throughout their pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal period.
This position offers the opportunity to work in various settings, including hospitals, communities, and homes, and to support women who choose to have a planned home birth. The successful candidate will have the chance to grow as an autonomous practitioner by managing their own caseload, developing various skills, and providing holistic and tailored care to each woman.
As a Clinical/Registered Midwife, you will play a pivotal role in delivering midwifery care that is guided by respect, integrity, and accountability. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote excellence in midwifery practice and ensure the highest standards of care are upheld.
About the TeamThe Northern Area Midwifery Group Practice is composed of a group of Midwives who share the philosophy of nurturing, supporting, and empowering women throughout their pregnancy, birthing, and postnatal journey. The team provides continuity of care to women within an all-risk model of midwifery-led care, and the successful candidate will be an integral part of this team.
